Save 3 tablespoons of the asparagus juice when draining the asparagus. Cut cheese and eggs in cubes, crumble 3 crackers in the bottom of a buttered casserole, put part of the cheese on crackers, then 1 egg, then layers of asparagus and part of soup. Continue layers two more times. Reserve some crackers for top. Mix milk with 3 tablespoons of asparagus juice, pour over casserole just before baking. Sprinkle the top with crackers. Bake at 350ºF. for 30 minutes. |
