Preheat your oven to 350ºF. On a sheet of waxed paper. sift together flour, baking powder and salt. In a large bowl, with mixer at medium low speed, beat the butter and sugar until creamy. Add the egg, milk, and vanilla, beat until well blended. Reduce speed to low, beat in flour mixture just until blended. Drop dough by rounded teaspoons, 2 inches apart, onto an ungreased large cookie sheet. Bake for 14 minutes, or until browned at edges. With a wide spatula, transfer the cookies to a wire rack to cool completely. Repeat with remaining cookie dough. Makes 3 1/2 dozen cookies |
