| Five Flavor Pound Cake
1/2 pound of butter or margarine 1/2 cup of Crisco 3 cups of cake flour or 3 cups of all purpose minus 6 tbsp. 3 cups of sugar 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder 5 eggs 1 cup of milk 1 teaspoon of lemon extract 1 teaspoon of rum extract 1 teaspoon of coconut extract 1 teaspoon of almond extract 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract |
| Cream butter and Crisco together. Sift flour, sugar and baking powder together. Set aside. Add eggs and milk to butter and Crisco. Mix well. Add dry ingredients to mixture. Mix well. Add flavorings last. Bake in a greased and floured tube pan in a preheated 325ºF. oven for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Cool in pan 15 minutes. Invert onto serving plate and cool completely.
