1 cup of sugar
5 tablespoons of water
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/2 teaspoon of vanilla |

In an iron skillet, mix all of the ingredients except the nuts. Bring to a boil, then add nuts, keeping them separated. Once all of the liquid is dissolved, pour out on foil and cool. May be sprinkled with a little sugar.
