| German Chocolate Pound Cake 2
1 package of German chocolate 2 cups of sugar 1 cup of oleo 4 eggs 2 teaspoons of vanilla 2 tablespoons of butter flavoring 1 cup of buttermilk 3 cups of flour 1 teaspoon of soda 1 teaspoon of salt |
| Partly melt chocolate over hot water. Cream sugar and oleo. Add eggs, flavoring, buttermilk. Sift soda, salt and flour. Add chocolate last. Pour into 9 inch well greased tube pan. Bake at 300ºF. for 1 1/2 hours. Loosen and remove immediately and cover. Glaze
1 package of German chocolate 1 tablespoon of oleo
Melt in 1/2 cup water. Mix: 1 cup of sifted confectioners' sugar, a dash of salt, Dash of salt, 1 teaspoon of vanilla. If too thick, add more water. |
