| Green Tomato Mincemeat Pie
2 cups of chopped green tomatoes 1/2 cup of brown sugar 2 tablespoons of vinegar 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon 1/2 cup of raisins 3 tablespoons of melted butter or margarine 1/2 teaspoon of salt 1/4 teaspoon of ground cloves 1/4 teaspoon of mace Pie crust |
| Cover tomatoes with water and boil for 2 minutes. Drain and add other ingredients. Put in a pastry lined pie pan. Put on top crust; slit to let steam escape. Crimp around the edge of crust. Bake at 375ºF. for 55 minutes or until done. Serve hot or cold. |
