target | Raw Mussels
Wash the fresh mussels, open and take out the flesh. Remove the beard, place the mussels into a bowl with some of their own juice (small ones whole, large ones cut in half). Put in 1 large onion, cut in thick rings, 1 teaspoon sugar and 1/2 cup vinegar. Marinate for 3 hours in refrigerator, turning occasionally. |
