| Amish Salad Dressing
1 1/4 cup of sugar 1/3 cup of vinegar 3/4 teaspoon of celery seed 3/4 teaspoon of pepper 1/2 teaspoon of salt 1/4 cup of mayonnaise 1/4 cup of mild prepared mustard 1 tablespoon of onion 3/4 cup of chilled salad oil |

Put all ingredients in blender, except salad oil, and blend until well mixed. Gradually add well chilled salad oil and blend until thick and emulsified. This is good both on lettuce and cabbage salads. Yields: 1 pint. |
