1/2 cup of butter or margarine 1 cup of sugar 2 eggs 1 cup of mashed ripe bananas 1 1/4 cups of flour 3/4 teaspoon of soda 1/2 teaspoon of salt 1 teaspoon of vanilla 1 cup of chopped nuts Whipped cream |
| Cream the shortening & add sugar. Add eggs, beating well after each. Stir in bananas. Add dry ingredients & then nuts. Pour into greased & floured 8x8x2-inch pan. Bake at 350ºF. for 25-30 minutes.
