1 pound of green beans, trimmed 1 clove garlic, minced 4 to 8 drops of China Bowl TM hot oil, available in Oriental groceries 1/2 teaspoon of brown sugar 4 tablespoons of water
Place the green beans and garlic in 1/2 inch of water. Add the soy sauce and simmer over high heat. Be sure not to burn or scorch garlic or beans. Once the beans are bright green, add the remaining ingredients, stirring and reducing liquid. Drain and serve hot. Serves 3 - 4
