Tuna Potato Chip Casserole
Arrange in layers in a buttered 1 1/2 quart baking dish: 2 cups of tuna (two 7 oz. cans) 3/4 cup of olives, sliced 2 cups of potato chips, crushed 3 cups of med. white sauce
Melt 2 tablespoons butter, over low heat. Blend in a tablespoon flour. Stir until mixture is smooth and bubbly. Remove from heat. Stir in 1 cup milk. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Boil 1 minute. Finish with a sprinkling of crushed potato chips. Bake in a moderate oven at 350ºF. for 35 minutes. Serve hot, with a green salad, a green vegetable and a glass of milk. Makes 6 servings. |
